Escape the Zoom box and participate in local activities at SRI2021

Join us in-person at SRI2021 to gain access to the 100+ sessions on our virtual platform and participate in COVID-safe activities onsite in our beautiful host city, Brisbane, Australia.

While the Sustainability Research & Innovation Congress 2021 (SRI2021) has moved online due to ongoing global travel restrictions, we are excited to announce a range of in-person opportunities in Brisbane.

“The in-person activities and events in Brisbane will be a fantastic complement to the richness of the online program. In the online world, our onsite gatherings give us a rare and valuable opportunity to connect outside the Zoom box, to talk outside the agenda items where so much of our innovation happens,” says Tayanah O’Donnell, Director of Future Earth Australia.

The Congress will be a unique opportunity for diverse audiences to connect, learn, create, partner, explore, inspire and be inspired by the global sustainability community.

This truly global event welcomes attendees from all corners of the globe to participate in 100+ sessions on our virtual platform and collaborate across borders to develop evidence-based plans and strategies to advance sustainability pathways.

“The pandemic has demonstrated perfectly the power that can come from collaborating strategically for our common good,” adds O’Donnell. “Opening SRI2021 through our virtual platform is a really exciting opportunity to meet with more future collaborators, more than we had ever initially imagined.”

After over a year of Zoom meetings and virtual conferences, SRI2021’s face-to-face activities will give you the opportunity to meet your next project partner, collaborator, colleague or mentor in a COVID-safe environment.
